Three Blue Ducks is your classic brunch stronghold in Bronte

Let’s be honest, your morning coastal walk and brunch go so well together they may as well be considered a package deal.  In fact, it could just be called taking the long way to breakfast.  Scenic route perhaps?  Yeah, that.  So why don’t we just go ahead and make this brunch haunt the unofficial Bondi to Bronte finish line.  You’re more than welcome to tie up some ticker tape, let confetti fall from the sky, walk up in slow motion and maybe even give yourself a gold medal.  Or just skip that whole part and walk through the entryway when you get there.  A high five should suffice.

When you do step inside, you’ll find yourself in a corridor lined with street art and potted wall plants.  After a visual perimeter check you’ll realise that there’s dining quarters on either side of you, which makes it sort of like playing mystery doors.  Except that behind both Door #1 and Door #2 it’s the exact same thing.  Delicious breakfast.

Speaking of which, let’s move on to the menu highlight reel:

  • The bacon and egg roll isn’t a bad place to test the waters.  We have heard from multiple (yes, more than one) sources that it’s the World’s Greatest Bacon Egg Roll.  Big call. But yeah, that has a nice ring to it.
  • Feeling more adventurous?  You’ll want to try the black sausage.  It comes with delights including but not limited to red currant jam and dill cucumber yoghurt.  Basically, a lot of flavours that could be summarised by “yum.”
  • Hello, this is brunch.  Good coffee.
  • The muffins.  We repeat, the muffins.  Don’t exhaust yourself overthinking this one.  Just nod your head and trust us.

Need more?  They grow their own chemical-free seasonal ingredients in their vegetable and herb kitchen garden.  Yeah, they kind of just next leveled the whole earth to table thing.  Which just proves the old saying that the shortest distance between the ingredients and your stomach is a straight line…  It’s something like that.
