A Moveable Feast
11 March 2017
Bondi Beach, NSW 2026
Summer’s favourite swan song is back again, so move it on down to A Moveable Feast.
AMF will be planting itself firmly in the sand at Bondi Beach, in partnership with acclaimed Australian chef and restauranteur Luke Mangan.
What is A Moveable Feast: It’s part pop-up dinner, part synchronized picnic and part party. Put all those parts together and you get one fully great event.
What’s in store: Enjoy chilled wine in salute to the summer that was, along with a gourmet eight course shared feast that is inspired by Mangan’s 19 restaurants found across five countries. It’s always dinner time somewhere.
And after dinner: What pairs better with dinner than dancing? Kick your shoes off and stay a while. The dancing will be of the barefoot (an obvious solution to the pesky problem of getting sand in your shoes) and moonlit variety, to the tunes of one of the hottest Australian producers/songwriters (yet to be announced).
The theme: Wear your shades. That’s sunglasses, and of course, shades of a soft colour palette because this is a pastels party. Nothing quite says “beach party” like matching your outfit to the sunset. End of Summer white parties suddenly pale in comparison.
Obvious conclusion: Once you’re there you won’t want to move anywhere.
